Kaprun - a typically quaint mountain village in the Salzburg Region. Surrounded by world famous and popular skiing and hiking areas. At an altitude of 786 metres the village is only "slightly high" - you do however feel a little bit closer to heaven!

Kaprun – for its approx. 3000 residents, Kaprun is a town with history. In 1955, with the completion of the Tauern power station, the boom arrived: between 1963 and 1965 the glacier here became the first in Austria to be made accessible using a cable car.
