Kaprun Castle

Awe-inspiring Ruins:

The "Burg zue Caprun" was built in the 12th Century. Restoration of the castle only started over the last few years, and since then the Kaprun Castle has been a treasured location for all types of events.

Each summer (July/August) the "Burgfest" (castle festival) takes place here. Experience the entertaining medieval music and activities!
Entertainment is important here ...

However Kaprun Castle is also worth a visit even when there is no event being hosted here. The castle is just a short walk from Hotel Rudolfshof Vitality - it can be reached in around 10 minutes by foot.
